...Anyway, they've been having fun over at cosplay.com about this, so I thought I'd stick it up for dA people to see it, too.

Still a few little bits of shading to adjust, and it'll be glossed up prior to use...but otherwise....here's my completed Soul Edge.
Um.... wait, not "complete" - I mean....incomplete Soul Edge "finished"...in the shower... ^_-;

Yeah, he's holding up really well after all these years. And actually, he ends up getting more and more shaded as time goes on, since it's a really handy place to wipe off my paintbrushes. >XD

This is really impressive. I'm a huge fan of replicated swords from video games, and I'm considering learning how to work with metal so I can craft replicas of my own. Have you considered making the other versions of Soul Edge, such as the Phantom?

That's insane! I didn't think it was possible to make something so convincing without it costing a few hundred dollars.. I wish there were tutorials for this.. And some for his armor etc. Great job! Totally envious of your talent.
